Print/Digital Magazine Specifications

High Resolution PDF or PDF/X-1:

• Set bleed to 0.125" (9 pt.)
• Set registration mark offset to 12 pt.
• Set paper size to ad trim size plus 1" when exporting from original file
• Set resolution to 300dpi
• Use DDAPOptimized2 Distiller Settings available at http://www.medibelplus.be

• Issue Date
• Agency/Vendor/Advertiser Name
• Production Contact & Phone Number
• File Name/Number and List of Contents

Online Specifications

Creative Deadlines:

•  GIF, JPEG, HTML — Two business days prior to start date
•  Flash — Five business days prior to start date
•  Text — Two business days prior to start date

File Specifications:

•  GIF, JPEG, Flash formats only
•  Maximum File Size: 40K
•  5 loop limit
•  Alt text cannot exceed 70 characters

Expandable Banner Specifications:

•  Expandable banners must be composed of 2 SWF :
       MASTER: SWF with base dimensions shown when not expanded (e.g.: 728 x 90)
       PANEL: SWF with expanded dimensions shown when expanded (e.g.: 728 x 400)
•  Each SWF file must have a backup image GIF/JPG
•  Each SWF must have a clickTAG for each external link
•  Panel will expand on mouse-over action and close on mouse-out action
•  Do not integrate expandable controls ( mouse out / mouse over )

Flash Specifications:

•  Creative must be delivered as a SWF file format
•  Must submit an image (JPEG or GIF) to be served in case the user does not have flash installed.
   The Kbytes size for the static image should be the same as the Kbyte restriction for a normal image ad
   of the same size and shape.
•  All flash files must contain a clickTAG action on any external link
